Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah has been officially confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly. The confirmation ceremony was held on Wednesday, 22nd April 2025, at the Saint Matthew Parish Hall in Tarkwa. The event was attended by chiefs, government officials, and Hon. Assembly Members.
Hon. Cobbinah received unanimous approval from the Hon. Assembly Members to assume the role of MCE for Tarkwa-Nsuaem.
He expressed his gratitude to the Assembly Members for the trust they have placed in him and pledged to work diligently to drive development across the Municipality.
He further indicated his plans to improve infrastructure, support local economic growth, and collaborate closely with all stakeholders to enhance the quality of life for residents throughout the Municipality.
Also present at the ceremony were the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson; the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. Issah Salifu Taylor; and the former MCE, Hon. Benjamin Kessie. They all expressed their support and confidence in Hon. Cobbinah’s leadership.
The event marked the beginning of another historic chapter in the political administration of Tarkwa-Nsuaem, one filled with hope and a renewed commitment to progress.
