In other to enhance education in the municipality, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive on Wednesday, 6th July 2023, presented about 500 pieces of dual desk furniture to the education directorate for onward distribution to schools in the Municipality.

This initiative is part of the Government’s demand-driven furniture distribution which is aimed at creating enabling and conducive environment in classrooms.

Briefing the Media, Hon. Kessie said Government is bent on ensuring effective teaching and learning, hence the effort to provide resources to schools across the country.

Hon. MCE asked the education directorate to make the distribution to schools that are in dire need of furniture and urged the beneficiary schools to ensure proper maintenance when they receive them.

He, therefore, entreated schools in the municipality to make the government’s effort fruitful in their academics. Mr. William Boss Baiden, Deputy Education Director commended the Assembly for their continued support. He also thanked the Assembly and assured them that the resources provided to them would be properly used.
