Goldfields Ghana has donated relief items to the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly in support of flood victims in affected communities in the municipality.
Items donated include 20 packets of roofing sheets, 50 bags of cement, 50 students’ mattresses, 600 exercise books, and about 2000 pharmaceutical products.

The items were presented at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly on Wednesday, 19th July 2023.

Presenting the items, Sandra Deladem Woanyah, Project Manager for Gold Fields Ghana Foundation said the gesture is in response to a request by the assembly to support victims affected by the recent rains in Tarkwa and its neighboring communities.

Receiving the Items, Hon. Kessie said, “We commend them, they are active in the development of their catchment communities. “We thank Gold Fields for responding timely to this request, our job now is to make sure we distribute the items according to the data gathered by NADMO”.
