A TWO-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR REVENUE COLLECTORS ON THE 2023 FEE FIXING RESOLUTION AND THE NEW TARKWA NSUAEM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY REVENUE MOBILIZATION SYSTEM(TNMA-REMOS)

This training program conducted for Revenue Collectors within the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality on the implementation of the 2023 Fee Fixing Resolution (FFR) and the new revenue software known as the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly Revenue Mobilization System (TNMA-REMOS). The purpose of the training was to equip Revenue Collectors with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the 2023 Fee Fixing Resolution and the new software for revenue mobilization. This report outlines the objectives, content, methodology, and outcomes of the training program.

The primary objectives of the revenue collectors’ training program on the new revenue software were as follows:

  1. To familiarize revenue collectors with the FFR and the functionalities and features of the new revenue
  2. To develop proficiency in navigating and utilizing the software for efficient revenuecollection and management.
  3. To enhance data accuracy and integrity through proper utilization of the software and the FFR
  4. To streamline revenue collection processes and reduce manual efforts through automation.
  5. To improve revenue forecasting and reporting capabilities using the software.
  6. To ensure compliance with relevant data security and privacy measures.

The training program on the new revenue software resulted in several positive outcomes, including:

  1. Increased Familiarity: Revenue collectors gained a thorough understanding of the new revenue software, its functionalities, and features.
