The rainstorm which occurred on Monday, 28th March, 2022 has affected a number of households and institutions within the Dompim Pepesa Community in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality.
According to assessment conducted by the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) no lives were lost but about 161 households have been affected and over 300 people are rendered homeless.
The Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly has commenced activities to remedy the situation. However, the level of destruction is quite huge and requires the attention and support of the General Public.
They are therefore as a matter of Urgency calling on Individuals, Private Institutions, Groups, Association, Traditional Authorities etc to come onboard to support the displaced victims.
Items that would be needed include: Roofing Sheet, clothes, mattresses, Foodstuffs, Cash Donations, Reading and Learning Materials etc.
