The Municipal Chief Executive for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly, Hon. Benjamin Kessie on Friday, 10th June 2022 led a team to plant trees at Fiaseman Senior High School (FIASEC) as part of this year’s Green Ghana Day programme which was launched by the president, Nana Akufo-Addo on 11th March 2022.

In a speech delivered by MCE,” everything is about restoring our environment, it is true that many disasters are befalling this country because we are not adhering to the protocols with respect to the proper upkeep of our environment and sanitation so the exercise is to mobilize and rekindle the spirit of restoring our degraded environment”.

“We cannot develop when the environment is bad, we know the importance of trees when it comes to economics so we are putting all of this together to make sure that we live as human beings and clean the good works of the creator who brought us here, we cannot do that when we don’t have a clean environment”.
“Every household should see the need to plant trees at least if for nothing at all, for our own survival.
