The local Organizing Committee for the 2023 National Farmers’ Day has been officially inaugurated in Sekondi to oversee the seamless execution of this year’s celebration on Friday 1st December 2023.

Chaired by the esteemed Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabeba Okyere Darko-Mensah the committee’s work will include preparation activities for the 2023 Western Regional and Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Farmers’ Day celebrations, alongside the prestigious National Farmers’ Day Awards Night to be held at the University of Mines and Technology Auditorium.

Under the leadership of the Western Regional Minister, the committee boasts the Vice-Chairpersons, including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, and the Chief Director for the Western Regional Coordinating Council, Mr. Frederick Agyemang.
