THREE UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK COMMISSIONED AT TEBREBE

On Saturday, 23rd July 2022, Member of Parliament together with the Municipal Chief Executive of Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Nananom of Tebrebe commissioned a 3 unit classroom block at Tebrebe.

The project which was funded by GNPC has a staff common room for teachers and it’s already furnished with 240 tables and chairs and white boards.

In a speech, Nana Kojo Mena II, Chief of Tebrebe applauded the team and urged them to provide the school with an ICT center and computers to enhance the students in terms of technology. He also pleaded for employment for the youth in the community and therefore asked the youth to take their education serious.

Edmund Aggrey-Forson, Municipal Education Director tasked the teachers and students to ensure proper maintenance of the facility.

Dr. Dominic Eduah, Executive Director for GNPC Foundation revealed that the foundation has commissioned about 144 classroom blocks across the country, out of which Tarkwa-Nsuaem has benefited three(3-Unit classroom block at Dompim, a 3-unit classroom block at Simpa, and currently 3-unit classroom block at Tebrebe). He assured the people of Tarkwa-Nsuaem of the foundation’s readiness to honor their every request.

HON. Benjamin KESSIE, MCE for Tarkwa-Nsuaem reminded the students, teachers, and the entire community that the purpose of the facility is to boost learning activities and breed more graduates in the community.

HON. George Mireku-Duker, MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem who doubles as Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources promised to fulfill the request made by the Chief, Nana Kojo Mena II.

HON. DUKER on the same day inaugurated and sworn in members of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Local Management Committee of MDF with Mr. Adjei Nuako being their new chairman.
