| The National Youth Authority through its District office in the Tarkwa-Nsueam Municipality has recruited five (5) volunteers to embark on public sensitization on the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The five (5) volunteers were drawn from the Federation of Youth Associations in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality. Each volunteer was given a megaphone to help in information dissemination within the Municipality. The group paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Gilbert K. Asmah, in his office on Friday, 24th April 2020. The Hon. MCE assured the volunteers of his support towards the exercise. He reiterated the fact that it was important for the volunteers to set good examples in the way and manner they carry themselves and ensure strict social distancing protocols during their engagements. The MCE also advised the volunteers to liaise with the Municipal Information Officer to ensure uniformity of the information going out to the general public. |
