Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly Holds Staff Durbar

The Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly has successfully held a staff durbar at the Assembly’s Conference Hall. The event brought together staff from various ministries, departments, agencies, and units across the Municipality in a bid to promote collaboration and strengthen internal communication.

In a remark, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah, underscored the importance of hard work, unity, teamwork, and commitment as foundational values for achieving success within the Assembly. He urged staff to discharge their duties with utmost professionalism and integrity, while remaining non-partisan in their service to the public.

Hon. Cobbinah reaffirmed his commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainable development under his administration. He encouraged all employees to contribute proactively to the Assembly’s growth and development agenda.

Also addressing the durbar was the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Alhaji Boffour Ahmed Haruna. He reiterated the MCE’s concerns, emphasizing the need for unity and professionalism among staff. He assured the MCE of management’s full support in the effective implementation of government policies, programs, and initiatives within the Municipality.

Alhaji Boffour announced that similar staff durbars would be held quarterly to keep both management and staff updated on the progress and development efforts of the Assembly.

During an interactive session, staff raised various concerns, to which the MCD responded with assurances that leadership would prioritize addressing their issues in a timely and effective manner.

The durbar ended on a positive note, reinforcing a renewed sense of purpose and cooperation among staff and leadership of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly.
