On Wednesday, 9th January 2024, the assembly donated 100 pieces of bunk beds to Fiaseman Senior High School at the forecourt of the administration block.

According to Hon. Benjamin Kessie, the gesture is part of the Assembly’s responsibilities to ensure better education system in the municipality.

Hon. Kessie said after the attention was drawn to a very inconvenient condition at the school’s various dormitories, the assembly hastily procured the beds to ease any challenges the students face while asleep.

Adding that, the assembly’s goal is to improve students’ comfort and wellness on campus as well as stimulating an environment conducive to a sound sleep and help their academic growth.

Mr. John Sagoe, Headmaster of the school was very pleased with the gesture and vowed to put the beds to good use and ensure proper maintenance.

The beds are worth over Three Hundred and Ninety Eight Thousand Ghana Cedis and was funded by the Minerals Development Fund (MDF).
