As a yearly routine activity embarked by the Municipal Chief Executive to welcome the new entry of K.G 2 and Class 1 pupils, Hon. Gilbert K. Asmah and his team together with Education unit of the municipality, visited some selected Basic schools within and outside Tarkwa. The teachers and the pupils were so happy to have the presence of the MCE in their midst as he personally shared assorted items to the pupils with excitement. He therefore encourage the pupils to read and learn hard to become useful in society in future. Everywhere he went a question was posed, which was “who is the president of Ghana?” The children gladly answered “Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo”. Hon KD Asmah took notice of their challenges and assured them of his support to solve their challenges.
