The Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 8th September 2026, held its Inter-Service and Sectoral Collaboration Committee (ISCC) / Heads of Department Meeting to review progress on the implementation of the 2026 Annual Action Plan and address challenges affecting implementation.
The meeting assessed the progress made by various Departments and identified areas requiring urgent attention.

A key concern was the failure of some Departments to submit reports on activities already implemented. The affected Departments were tasked to submit their reports to the Municipal Planning and Coordinating Unit (MPCU), as proper documentation and reporting form an important component of the DPAT Assessment.

Departments yet to implement their planned activities were also encouraged to take immediate steps to commence implementation and work towards achieving their 2026 targets.
The Municipal Coordinating Director reiterated the need for stronger coordination, timely reporting, accountability and collaboration among Departments to ensure the successful implementation of the Assembly’s development agenda.
