Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive has acknowledged Rotary International Club, Tarkwa branch for donating a Photo Therapy Machine (Jaundice machine) to the Municipal Hospital.
According to the president of the club, Mr. Desmond McClain Arthur, the machine is to support child health in the Municipality, especially babies who are affected by Jaundice.
Receiving the machine on behalf of the Health Directorate, Hon. Benjamin Kessie applauded the club and urged them to do more to help the needy.
“Whoever does good is in the resemblance of God, for that matter Rotary Club is doing good, you are doing exactly what God has asked man to do, service to Mankind is obviously service to God”.
Hon. Kessie therefore asked the hospital directorate to put the machine to use in other to ease congestion in the unit, “make sure it’s always in good shape for the betterment of Tarkwa-Nsuaem”, Hon. MCE added.
Rotary International Club is a non-governmental organization that provides service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
