In the space of two months, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive and Member of Parliament, Hon. George Mireku Duker together with other officials have commissioned eight edifices with the latest being a Six Unit Classroom Block and 20 Seater Water Closet (WC) With Bathroom Facility for the Nsuaem Methodist MA Basic School and the people of Tarkwa Na Aboso, respectively.
The school building which was commissioned on Friday, 26th November, 2021 is fully furnished and has two offices with an air conditioned computer lab. The beneficiary school had an existing deplorable infrastructure which collapsed somewhere last year but with the intervention of the MP, MCE and the Coastal Development Authority, a construction of the new block was commenced in June 2021.
The second project which is a WC with Bathroom facility was also commissioned on the following day, 27th November 2021. It is an ultramodern facility with ceiling fan fitted in all the cubicles.
During the ceremonies, Hon. Benjamin Kessie applauded the chiefs of both communities for their assistance and urged them to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities.
Hon. George Mireku Duker also promised to complete all ongoing projects that his office has commenced.
