The Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly On 25th August 2021 presented 45 Motorbikes to Assembly Members. This was procured through the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG) to serve as a source of transportation for Honorable Assembly Members to discharge their duties effectively.
Honorable Benjamin Kessie, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) underscored the fact, that the work of the assembly member is voluntary and much challenging. He added that the motor bikes would serve as a motivation for the Hon. Members to engage their electorates more often without transportation constraints.
The MCE further cautioned the beneficiary Hon. Members to demonstrate true leadership to the people within the electoral areas by ensuring the use of helmets and adhering to the road traffic regulations at all times.
Honorable Emmanuel Yalmon Gado, Presiding Member for the Assembly, thanked the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly and NALAG on behalf of all the Assembly Members for the kind support to alleviate their plight.
