The unit received directives from the Leap secretariat to embark on the 96th Cycle Leap payment. The Leap liaison officer in collaboration with Cal Bank, the performing financial institution embarked on an on-field cash-payment at the various pay points across the municipality. The activity took place at Mile 10 1/2 , Wangarakrom and Simpa on 2nd to July 3rd 2025.
Challenges encountered on the field during payment included broken beneficiary E-zwich cards, beneficiary names missing in the payroll, poor network reception at designated paypoints, unavailable new E-Zwich cards etc. The officer continues to engage the performing financial institution (Cal Bank) to rectify these challenges.
