On Friday, 23rd June 2023, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive visited the Nsuaem community to inspect the level of damages caused by heavy downpours.
He first visited the house of a middle-aged man who was found dead in a flooded gutter on Wednesday, 21st June 2023 after the rains.
The Hon. MCE continued his visit to houses that were affected by the rains and assisted them with an undisclosed amount of money as they awaited the assembly’s help.
Hon. Benjamin Kessie advised the residents to be cautious during this time of the rainy season and frequently check the strength of their buildings to avoid such situations during heavy downpours.
He was in the company of the Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Chief Engineer, Heads of Departments, NADMO officer, and the Assembly Member of the area.
